How to Make a Wedding Album in Photoshop: Complete Beginner Workflow
Making a wedding album in Photoshop is a repeatable process: plan, select photos, lay out spreads, polish and export. Once you follow the same steps every time, a 30-spread album becomes a two-day job instead of a two-week one.
Start with the album size your lab prints, such as 12x36. Create or open a template at the right pixel size: 10800x3600 px at 300 DPI or 5400x1800 px at 150 DPI.
Sort the photos into events in story order. Pick one hero image per spread first, then two to four supporting shots.
Use a layered template. Place each photo above its frame layer and clip it with Alt+Ctrl+G. Resize with Ctrl+T and keep faces away from the centre fold.
Unify colour with a single Curves or Color Lookup adjustment group so every spread looks like it belongs to the same book.
Proof each spread at 100%, fix spelling, flatten a copy to JPG for the lab and archive the PSDs.
