12x36 Album Size Guide: Pixels, DPI and Print Settings
A 12x36 inch spread at 300 DPI is 10800x3600 pixels. At 150 DPI it is 5400x1800 pixels, which many labs accept for album sheets.
Higher DPI gives sharper detail but larger files. For most wedding albums viewed at arm's length, 200–300 DPI is plenty.
Leave around 0.25 inch of bleed on every edge and keep faces and text well away from the centre fold.
Most digital labs print from RGB files. Only convert to CMYK if your printer specifically asks for it.
